The group was initially engaged in the manufacture of stainless steel/silver plated cutlery for exports as also the domestic retail market. This cutlery business is the one that helped KISHCO become a household name in India.

Thereafter Kishco set up a manufacturing unit for the production of poly-wool suiting through which it announced its foray into the textile industry.

It also comprised a general trading office wherein all kinds of merchandise was handled including commodities like food, minerals etc.

The Kishco group was promoted in 1938 by Mr. Kishinchand Gajwani and was run successfully by him and his son Mr K.G Nariman for 4 decades.

Thereafter in the 1980’s the business was managed by Mr. K.G. Nariman’s daughter,
Mrs. Minoo Nath, who piloted it for more than 30 years.

Today the group comprises of 2 Directors being Kanwar Vilas Nath and Nohar Nath.
