An entrepreneur with a Masters in Marketing from one of INDIA’s premier business schools JBIMS, he has more than 3 decades of Textile industry experience with the Kishco Group. He has been a speaker at various forums across the globe including the World Recycling Conference 2015 and 2018. He has also been a national level golfer having won various events globally including the World Corporate Golf Challenge in 2008 in La Manga, Spain.
Abhishek Nath, a Marketing graduate from Hult International Business School in Boston, USA, has been a valuable addition to our team since joining in mid-2023. His contributions are expected to bring a fresh approach to the business, eventually making a significant impact with his diverse skill set.
The group was initially engaged in the manufacture of stainless steel/silver plated cutlery for exports as also the domestic retail market. This cutlery business is the one that helped KISHCO become a household name in INDIA. Thereafter, Kishco set up a manufacturing unit for the production of poly-wool suiting through which it announced its foray into the textile industry.
It also comprised a general trading office wherein all kinds of merchandise was handled including commodities like food, minerals etc.
The company was promoted in 1938 by Kishinchand Gajwani and was run successfully by him and his son K.G Nariman for 4 decades.
In the 1980’s the business was managed by K.G. Nariman’s daughter, Minoo Nath, who piloted it for more than 30 years.
Since Nohar Nath’s joining the Company in 1995, his influence and leadership have been instrumental in propelling the business to greater heights & success, achieved by masterfully cultivating an extensive global network across numerous continents.
